CHARITABLE CHRISTIAN MEDICAL CENTER "Miloserdiye/Mercy"

CCMC "Mercy" is a voluntary organization of Christian doctors and other believers whose purpose is to render medical, social, and spiritual help to those in need.

 

The organization was founded in 1998 to meet the growing needs of unprotected groups of the population in the Vinnitsa Oblast of Ukraine. It was initiated by Christian doctors in Vinnitsa with the help of evangelical Baptist Christians but is interdenominational in membership. As well, people receive help without regard for their denomination.

 

The center became known for its assistance to pensioners, handicapped, families in need, and those with many children.

 

CCMC is located on the property of the Maximovich Baptist Church in Vinnitsa . It is open each Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm - 6pm .

 

FINANCES

CCMC is a non-profit organization. It is financed by the contributions of individuals, churches, mission groups and organizations. All contributions are used for ministry and operation of the center, with physicians donating their time and services without payment.

PROGRAMS

1. Medical Clinics at the Center in Vinnitsa .

Patients in need are seen by physicians, including cardiologist, urologist, endocrinologist, internist, and neurologist. They receive examinations and medicines without charge. On average, each doctor sees 15 - 20 patients in an afternoon.

2. Mobile Clinics

A special program with physicians going into rural and remote villages of the Vinnitsa Oblast to render medical services. Patients are seen as in the Vinnitsa Center . There have more than 30 mobile clinics held with 3000+ patient visits.

3. Gospel Ministry

To introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ, offer prayer, and explain the biblical understanding of illness to patients who visit the clinics.

4. Educational Program for Diabetics

To teach people with diabetes how to better manage their disease with diet, lifestyle, use of medications, including insulin. Presented by an endocrinologist.

5. Educational Program for Asthmatics

To teach people with asthma how to better manage their disease with the help of nebulizers and inhalators, how to manage acute exacerbations of asthma, and lifestyle management in terms of rest and work.

6. Assitance for Orphans and Nursing Home Residents .

7. Ministry to Drug Rehabilitation Center .

8. Social Assistance

Humanitarian aid is spread among people with low income in Vinnitsa and the Vinnitsa

PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY

Charity is not the business of one church or denomination. It is the ministry of every Christian. Charity is not simply a cordial disposition to people in need, rather a concrete action requiring one's time and energy.

Charity is a genuine tratit of a Christian, because "faith without works is dead." We have an obligation to perform such a labor of love to our fellowmen. As the Lord sends us out to share the needs and hurts of people, we hope that our work in the name of Jesus Christ will wash away the indifference from their hearts, help them to live rightly, and to find values common to all mankind and most especially to Christians ~ the great commandment being to love one's neighbor as one's self, after love of God. (Luke 10:27)

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe in one eternal and perfect God - the Creator, who existed from the very beginning, who is united in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe that the canonical books of the Holy Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and inspired by God, and that in them is contained the complete revelation of His will for salvation. This Word of God is the supreme and final authority in questions of faith, life, and ministry.

3. We believe that we are called to demonstrate Christian mercy by delivering medical, social, and spiritual assistance to people in need regardless of their denomination as well as to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our organization is open to cooperate with anyone willing to serve a neighbor,without personal gain, and who is in agreement with the Statement of Faith and ministry of CCMC "Miloserdiye."
