Families:
Through contacts with hospitals, churches, governmental departments, and other avenues we connect with families in desperate situations.  Throughout Ukraine there are great economic hardships.  Add to this a medical need, lack of employment opportunities, family loss, or other problems and you will find families struggling beyond comprehension.  With a monthly support of $40 - $50 a month coal, food, medicines, geese, and the basic necessities of life will be purchased and delivered on your behalf. You will learn through pictures and reports the individuals in your family; their needs and struggles.  You will also receive their mailing address if you should wish to ship them clothing and other material assistance.

Pastors/Churches:
We have a list of pastors that minister in village churches that receive little or no support.  Your monthly assistance can help them with their own personal family needs, transportation, building, or other ministry needs.  We will gather information and pictures about their ministries to aid you in praying for their personal and church body needs.  Via postal or email you will be able to keep in contact with them with words of encouragement and receive reports of the fruits God's work through their ministries.

An adoption option:
It is a blessing when a family can welcome a child into their lives, but that isn't always possible due to various reasons.  Yet anyone can adopt an orphanage.  Various levels of support can help with the medical needs, farming projects, teaching materials so locals can provide Bible clubs, and transportation for national groups to visit the children.  Through upgrading the care of the children and equipping others with the means to be able to minister, the children will feel God's love and know that someone cares.

We do not give cash to directors but assist in purchases, such as cows and seeds.  Working with Mercy's expertise we deliver and document medical purchases.  Through the involvement of local church and outreach groups, school supply packets and Bible lessons are presented directly to the children.  You will receive pictures and information about an orphanage, their unique needs, and ideas of projects for your consideration.  This would be a good group project and you may use a page on our web site to draw more attention to the needs of the children you 'adopt.'

Unlike the old woman that lived in a shoe,
You will have many children, but God will show you what to do.
You can give them shoes, and blankets, toys and bread,
Then they will know that God loves them and He watches over them in their bed.

The disabled:
In conjunction with the endeavors of Harmony, we offer the following projects that are waiting for financial assistance.

By gathering names from the social Protection department Harmony has visited and measured those in need of wheelchairs.  A grandmother who is dependent upon her 17 year old son because of no chair.  A mother whose arms are too short to wheel herself in her present chair.  Children who can presently only go outside when carried etc.  This work is done by faith as though the chairs are coming March 2nd, Harmony has no funds to transport the chairs to the recipients nor feed the volunteer team that will assist.  Catalyst for Kids has promised to help them and present this current need for you to consider.

Harmony will be organizing a summer camp for 12 disabled young adults from villages; offering social, legal, economic, emotional, and medical seminars.  The campers will have their own personal care assistant and the opportunity to participate in sports and other various recreational activities.  Each camper and their volunteer assistant will need a scholarship to attend this camp.
